Film Logo Analysis

Warner Brothers
In 1998 a CGI version of the logo was introduced which started with a picture of the studios, a ripple going across it and slowly turning to reveal the logo. Pictures was founded by four brothers: Jack, Harry, Albert and Sam. The shield was to convey strength of the production, and the fact there was four brothers they all shared a quarter of this shield (company). The bold font resembles their power of their company. The Warner Brothers have gone through a lot of logos from when it started to be seen on screens. Although, they have had many changes its easy to identify Warner Brothers with a gold shield with the initials ‘WB’ this is also presented in a bold, 3D font. As shown above. When an audience see’s this logo they automatically know the film is going to be comedy, cartoon or action but not too violent. The sky in the background portrays a calm atmosphere which could imply to the audience this film is going to relate to this logo. The blue background allows the gold/yellow to stand out more which implies Warner Brothers stand out from any other production company.
